I have recently upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and have since not been able to run AOM. I have tried the following: -compatibility mode -uninstalling the game (both AOM and Titans expansion) and reinstalling both When I click on the game to launch it, it sounds like the game is trying to load as I hear the CD spinning for a second or two but then it stops and nothing happens. I have seen this post about the no CD crack: Can anyone ELI5 how to do this? I'll give reddit gold to whoever helps me get the game to run as I truly love the game and it is killing me not being able to play. I'm not sure on what's causing the issue for you, but its working fine for me, the 'AoM: The Titans ALL VERSIONS [ALL] No-CD Loader' shouldn't be necessary, just replacing the aomx is enough.

For me the only issue is i need to install 'msxmlenu.msi' from the game folder otherwise it gives an error message. I'd check if you also have the directx runtimes installed, for me the game asked to install directplay upon first time launching it.

But it may need other versions too. Also are you sure the game has been updated? The fixed exe is for 1.03 which needs the 'aomx10to103.exe' update for it to run unless you have the gold version which comes already updated I believe. I'm kind of wishing I had just stayed with 8.1.

I doubt it, but Do you know if you can play the extended edition with the original through LAN? It's how my dad and I have played for years against the computer, and I'm wondering if I'll have to buy 2 copies for us to continue. Also, if you hear anything more about those drivers let me know and the gold is yours.
